I just talked with my dad (Jim Fann, EFCA Church Health Director) & he had read Mr. McIntosh & Mr. Reeves' new book, thriving churches in the twenty-first century. He said that it was a quick read (45 minutes) & not much new ground is covered in this work. It is a good, concise overview of Mr. McIntosh's thought & of vibrant ministry. It is a good work for those who would like the tip of the iceberg in Mr. McIntosh's thinking or for those just starting out in ministry. For something more indepth, look at Mr. McIntosh's Church That Works or his One Size Doesn't Fit All.
